Scholarships + Grants
To date, the Tennessee Education Lottery has raised nearly $2.5 billion for education programs in Tennessee. These dollars have been used to fund a variety of educational opportunities, including: pre-K, afterschool programs, multiple scholarships and grants for college and the Energy Efficient Schools Initiative. Last year, the Tennessee Education Lottery’s total transfer to education programs was over $323 million, which benefits more than 102,000 students.
The Tennessee Education Lottery currently funds 11 different scholarships and grants for Tennessee students seeking higher education. These scholarships and grants can be used for more than 90 different academic institutions throughout the state, including public, private and technical schools.
